At what age did your mom stop making you chicken noodle soup when you got sick?

My mom never made me chicken noodle soup, but I hear other moms do that on occasion.

I'm hounding all your topics!
Funny though because I just finished eating chicken noodle soup.
I'm not sick but I felt like eating it.
And my mom doesn't really make it, they make like that rice soup thing.. congee? o_o?

My mom makes the rice/chicken soup when I'm sick. If I ever want chicken noodle soup, she'll buy a can for me, and I'll have to make it myself. Even if I'm sick. :(

Chicken noodle soup with a soda on the side (...god I wish I hadn't had this song forced on me)

My mother, or more accurately grandmother, still makes me chicken noodle soup when I'm sick. I got bronchitis and they demanded that I go home for a weekend so they could make me soup to eat.

I have never cared much for chicken noodle soup (my favorite is tomato as well, JC). She used to just give me chicken broth.

I give my son saltines and 7Up when he has a belly ache. When he has a cold or the flu, I just let him eat french fries. It doesn't solve anything (but neither does chicken soup, in my opinion). So I figure if he's suffering as it is, why give him something shitty to eat?

Saltines and ginger ale for me. I drink a cup of ginger ale everyday to not get sick.

My mom's never made me chicken noodle soup. I think it's because Asian families don't really use that as a remedy. She would make me jook (rice porridge) or some other soupy things instead.

Hahah. Yes, "jook" is what all those Asian moms make.
My mom's a hybrid so she does both :D
