This may sound stupid but does it take longer to digest fried foods?
My friend told me that she's stopped eating fried food because it just stays in her stomach. True? You tell me. ((I wasn't sure if this should go under food or health so it might need to be moved**)) Thanks! |

Nope, not a stupid question at all.
The answer is yes, it does take longer to digest fried foods, then complex carbs such as apples and such. Fried foods are fats, it takes your body much longer to digest and know what to do with all that oil, and a lot of it gets stored as fat. Another reason why Mcdonalds isn't good for you, lol. The food doesn't just "stay" in your stomach though, it does get digested, just slower, and a lot of it gets stored like I said. She is smart for cutting out fried foods though, you can really improve your health by doing that. I think I will move this in Health, it really would be better in there then Food. _TOPIC MOVED TO HEALTH_ |
