what are your favourite pixar movies? i just watched UP yesterday and oh god i love it so much. i had this talk with my sister and we thought about which were our favourite movies. and we had an idea of ranking them.

here's a list of pixar films in order of production:
  • toy story (1995)
  • a bug's life (1998)
  • toy story 2 (1999)
  • monster inc (2001)
  • finding nemo (2003)
  • the incredibles (2004)
  • cars (2006)
  • ratatouille (2007)
  • WALL-E (2008)
  • up (2009)
rank them or something.

mine (1 is fav.)
  1. up
  2. finding nemo
  3. wall e
  4. the incredibles
  5. toys story
  6. ratatouille
  7. toys story 2
  8. cars
  9. a bug's life
  10. monster inc

1. Toy Story
2. Up
3. Finding Nemo
4. Toy Story 2
5. Wall-E
6. Monsters Inc
7. A Bug's Life
8. Ratatouille
9. The Incredibles
10. Cars

tbh this was really difficult because I love all these movies so much, except maybe Cars.

If you give me a few years I'm sure this will change since I recently saw Up. If I think about it...I'm not sure what the re-watch value of Up is. I had no problems watching Toy Story and Finding Nemo like 10+ times within a period of a year...so maybe I will edit this?

My rankings:

1. WALL-E
2. The Incredibles
3. Up
4. Finding Nemo
5. Toy Story
6. Ratatouille
7. Monsters Inc.
8. A Bug's Life
9. Toy Story 2
10. Cars

But I don't know... I barely remember Toy Story 2, Monsters Inc., and Ratatouille, so this might be a bit off. I just remember coming out of the theatre feeling very disappointed after Toy Story 2 and thinking Finding Nemo was overrated haha.

Toy Story is the reason why I'm in college majoring Illustration. First time seeing it when I was five years old. It was such a delight. happy.gif
It really inspired me to work with them.

I'm stuck between Toy Story & Wall-E. I've seen every Pixar film, but Wall-E was just absolutely beautiful. My least favorite was A Bug's Life & Cars. Didn't enjoy them. What I did enjoy was Kevin Spacey's grasshopper character & Paul Newman as Doc. Up was fantastic, I'm so glad I went to see it with my younger cousin. Had a feeling adults enjoyed it as well with their kids.

Monster's Inc 2 coming in 2011.

Did anyone else notice over all these years that Pixar puts references in its movies to other movies they make? Like for example the pizza planet truck is in every Pixar movie, except there is some debate about it being in the Incredibles. They're so damn clever.
