I am NOT impressed with the new releases. Sure they added some "new" features, but they're features that should have been established long time ago and the specs are not that worthy if you ask me.

Well, maybe I'll get the ipod touch 4G to replace my 2g.

I'm thinking of buying one of the new iPod Touches, just because it would be nice to have a video player with a large screen and a portable Google Maps device, in addition to a music player. It'd be really nice to be able to use Google Maps when I'm hanging out in the city. Plus the Google Maps app for the iPod also tells you when the next subway train is scheduled to arrive at a station (not that that matters in NYC, since trains don't run on time).

That is one thing I did miss when I switched between my 3gs and blackberry, then ultimately back to 3gs.. although, I wish they could put streetview on the iphone google maps.

I'm pretty sure they do have street view on the iPhone Google Maps app. It's called something else though, something like "Stand wherever Google Maps says you are and look around."
