for those of you who are looking to go into design as a career/part time side job, where are your main interests in design? web design? print/publication design? identity/branding?

I mostly stick to web design. I would do advertising and layout print work.

During college, I worked in print design for a newspaper. It was a lot of fun, and I'd definitely do it again, but there's not a lot of job openings for layout designers in newspapers.
 I work as a web developer now, and while I do mostly backend work, occasionally I tweak things on the frontend of the website.

Haha Im in college and I work at a Photography studio, Print studio, and managing my own clients for web design. I rather just have an all together multimedia company.
Pretty much I want to do everything, AUDIO, VIDEO, WEB, PRINT. |

I'm not going to go into any design-related career, but if I ever changed my mind I would want to work in advertising or stick with web design.
My DREAM is to be an animator and create my own cartoon show...but I don't think that's the kind of design you're referring to. |

I'm more into the Fansite Designing then Resourse Designing to be frank, but i'm kind of "whatever floats your boat " girl ;)

If I were to change my major to Graphic communications, I would want to do Web Design, Illustration, brand or Logo
...too many choices |

im pretty interested in branding and advertisement, and actually less interested in web design. what i really want to try out before leaving college is animation and motion media though, i've always wondered if that's gonna be of much interest to me.
