Guys, it's not like he's our f*cking mom. Who cares if he comes here or not, will his absence really mess up the safe haven that is cB? I mean, think about it. If you had a website with a bunch of people who liked to blog it up, and something minor wasn't being done to the website, would you want a bunch of text messages / phone calls / letters being sent to you when you're quite obviously neglecting/ignoring the site? What's so pressing that we can't manage?

If you had a website with a bunch of people who liked to blog it up, and something minor wasn't being done to the website, would you want a bunch of text messages / phone calls / letters being sent to you when you're quite obviously neglecting/ignoring the site? What's so pressing that we can't manage? I would actually really like my subdomain back. I've got things hosted on there. And I mean, if you take on the responsibility to host and run this stuff, without giving full capabilities to anyone else...then yeah, it kind of is your responsibility to deal with the shit people need you to do. If he doesn't want it he should sell it or give the admins the same capabilities on here that he has, etc etc. If he had an emergency before...okay, but he's still being neglectful now and I can't imagine it would actually take that long to fix the things people are desperately wanting fixed. Obviously ignoring the site is not a very good reason not to bother him; he's clearly not going to bother coming around any other way. All he needs to do is come on, do what it's sort of his obligation to do, and then he's free to disappear again until the next pile of stuff accumulates. |

im terribly sorry about this. this problem was caused by a faulty dns entry. its been fixed now so cbstaff subdomains should work as soon as the new dns entries are propagated to your ISP. this normally takes from an hour to a day. again, really sorry.
