It's a really sad movie, about two siblings trying to survive through the hardships of World Word II.
The family eventually dies on by one.
It made me cry a lot.

very good movie but pretty sad.
Before the movie i only had the american perspective of ww2 so it broadened my horizons about the war and time period.

I've seen it. It's a nice movie, except for it left me totally depressed afterward, therefore I hate it.

I thought it was good, but wasn't TEAR-JERKING or ABSOLUTELY SADDENING like everyone told me...

the main bother was that...well, I can't stand the character designs of ALL old anime shows...and yes, this includes shows like inu yasha, rurouni kenshin (except for the ovas), slayer, and basically anything that looks...well, "cheap".

To me story is more important then art, but I think the style was fine.
It was very sad but I was able to hold the tears back.
It was one of the best anime movies I'd ever seen. Two thumbs. XD

did u see the remastered version?
i thought that the art was fine and didn't take away from the movie experience at all.

Isn't this one, the one where a guy is running with this girl on his back away from the bombings and such? Then they find their mother wounded, and dead?

lol. its not as fun as it sounds...trust me...all you do is sit there all day and redraw the same frames OVER AND OVER AND OVER with very little difference from each frame....takes lots of patience....something i dont have..=_= theres not alot of people into anime in that class and if they are they are VERY obnoctious [sp?] and loud...it annoys the hell outta me...

... better then math class

...

you'll eventually move on to doing an animation movie soon, right? Then the practise'll be good I suppose... I can't draw the same person over and over blink.gif without it looking terrible.
Hang is there I guess happy.gif
Even if boring it sounds pretty cool.
