So I need some new bands to get into for 08.
I am very open as I listen to all kindns of music from Brooks & Dunn to The Diplomats. My favorite band is The Strokes, and I like bands like The Hives, The Vines, Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, Juliana Theory, Paramore, Coheed, ETC.! I am just trying to open my ears and eyes to new things. Any helpful suggestions would really help! |

Have you ever listened to At the Drive-in? They're "experimental," but I find their one song, Cosmonaut, to not be half-bad. I don't bother trying to find new music anymore, but that's one band that most people wouldn't try.

Can you ignore annoying voices until you get used to them and realize they aren't too bad? Can you listen to japanese music? :) |

I like bands fronted by girls like morningwood, I think that they are underrated. Somewhat like Morningwood: Uffie, Coco, Css, Freezepop, The Bird & The Bee. Then there is also stuff like Ingrid Michaelson, Sia, Terra Naomi, Imogen Heap, Frou Frou, Cat Power, and Rilo Kiley. |

^ you act like you some hot stuff? I saw mae twice and motion city soundtrack once with daphne loves derby. i can name all the bands ive seen and my list would be longer than javonn's dick! btw betty, lets go to a concert together in SF sometime. you can sit on my shoulder since you're short and the crowd will be pretty moshy!
