Veronica Mars. Where is she? Where is the show? It's awesome. Designers, get on it!
Comic book subject matter. No, I'm not just talking about the commercically successful ones (think Batman, The Joker, Ironman, Superman) but comic book images in general. TONS of material is just sitting there... waiting for someone to stroke them with some graphic lovin. Moonlight. Awesome show that some asshats over at CBS thought wasn't good enough for a second season. Screw them, make Moonlight graphics! haha Wonder Woman. I might be biased on that though. There's so much more. Anyway, I was curious as to what types of subject matter you folks would love to see more of (or any of, for that matter) here at cB. |

I always like to see graphics and layouts of movies, tv shows, and bands that aren't extremely popular or mainstream in general. I saw some icons of The White Stripes the other day, and was like "Hey, that's refreshing."
I think there should be more things made involving The Office. It's a pretty popular show, but you never really see many quality graphics unless you search LJ. |

Oh I would love to see more of The Office. Graphics don't always have to be serious or sexy. Sometimes comedic icons grab me more than one with a more serious tone.
LiveJournal is great in that the diversity is huge and I know that I do a search and find at least one thing that I'm looking for. For example, when I goggle "Moonlight icons", the first two hits are LJ sites (although the first one was deleted :[ ) I would also love to see subject matter involving writers or poets. I'm not sure how popular they'd be, but if I saw some icons or banners with Dorothy Parker in them, I'd be pretty surprised and definitely delighted. |

Writer and poet designs would be amazing. I've tried to make a few myself, but the only successful thing was a div I made inspired by The Raven.
Thinking of that, I'd love to see more quote layouts and graphics with sayings that actually mean something on them. It's always good to see quotes from famous people of the past or lines from a book. Even though I've been pressured into making things involving them, those cheesy love sayings and such get old. |

Rock and metal music gets no love in graphic design
A lot of the phrases on avatars have been used a million times over. But, then again, whenever I think of something it's always too long. |

Oh, I love Moonlight! I've only ever seen a few episodes, but it's really interesting, and pretty different from the other vampire stuff out there (*ahem* Twilight). I think I'll make some Moonlight stuff soon now. XD

I'd love to see more graphics of bands that just have a serious lack of graphics.
Like Cute is What We Aim For for instance. I think this site has a total of like three graphics by them (one of which is mine). I'd also love to see more of The Rocket Summer, Mayday Parade, and similar bands. I'd also love more graphics based on books, Twilight and Harry Potter not included. Oh and Scrubs graphics. I love Scrubs and they have even less icons then The Office. I agree with superstitous, comedic graphics catch my eye a lot too. |
