I'll use Mike's signature as an example:
Kind of like an inky.. goey look? I have a bunch of idea's that involve this but I have NO clue on how to do it! Thanks in advance! EDIT; I hope I posted this in the right area.. it seemed right. If not, feel free to move this~! |

I don't think Mike did it. http://www.totallygn.com/wp-content/upload...mickey-logo.jpg It's from an upcomming video game "Epic Mickey" what the others are saying is true. Anything can look this way with proper 3d-ish rendering. Highlights, midtones, and shadows is how you make something 2d appear 3d. |

Like he would ever tell us anything. =/ You just have to go about it the right way, and be appreciative of his help, at least from what I've seen. A lot of people he's helped in the RC don't give a simple "thank you" after he tries his best to guide them. Anyway, Googling "how to make ink/something look 3D" might be better? Just change the search phrase around until you get what you want. YouTube might be even better for finding nice video tutorials. |
