Birth Control, What do you use it for? |

I started using it for my acne. It started to help at first, but now it's not working as well.
Also, it helps a hell of a lot with my periods. I noticed that they've been shortened, and I NEVER cramp. It's flipping awesome. Plus I'm thinking about becoming more sexually active, so.. What about you guys?

well, i dont have bc but i plan on getting it after im 18 so i can get it myself without explaining why i need it in front of my dad.
my periods are extrememly heavy. if i leave in a superplus tampon for 6 hours during my heaviest day, ill leak. (usually, you change it every 4-8 hrs.) and on my good, regular days, a super for me may feel like a regular for someone else. i really need it to help regulate my periods as well. ive had it for almost 3 years and there still has never been 2 months where my period came at the same day on the month. i usually skip one month and go the next month, or sometimes, im late a few days. |

i dont use bc. but my friend does cuz her periods last for 10 days. If I start to get heavy periods, ill use it.

I dont take it, but i had a friend who did for a while, for her acne. She stopped when she noticed it was making her gain weight.

Birth control for the sex of course. I noticed that while I was on it, my face cleared up... that was good. The bad thing was that sex became painful at times ;x I'll take my chances now and have him pull out. Haha

i didn't know it helps with acne, but i heard that you shouldn't use birthcontrol if you aren't sexually active but i could be wrong.

I used birth control to avoid my period on my Spring Break trip to Cuba. Who wants to go to the beach worrying about leakage?

If its not an unborn baby, its not murder. Its just preventing, thats all. i dont have it yet but i am sorta sexually active so i should have it and i never knew it enhances body features what do you mean by that and i wish i could take them but my periods are short over all right now so im pretty good

I use to take Birth Control because I am sexually active. I always had normal periods until i was on it. Then they started getting weird. I stopped taking it for a few days and had sex with my boy, and now I am pregnant. I gained a lot of weight on the pill also. About 15 pounds. I never had a bad acne problem, but I think it helped take care of the little ones.

i dont use it nor do i plan too. my moms told me that sometimes birth control keeps you from having a baby your entire life....which i dont want. so i live with my periods as is and am not gonna get sexually active til im married. my mom got pregnant with all three of us while she was on birth control so i doubt it would work for me either
