QUOTE
Original Story: Noted hacker group Anonymous issued a threat to Sony this morning saying it would attack its web domains in response to the company taking legal action over George Hotz and others over breaking the PlayStation 3's security.

The group issued a press release on its website, telling Sony: "You have victimized your own customers merely for possessing and sharing information, and continue to target those who seek this information. In doing so you have violated the privacy of thousands of innocent people who only sought the free distribution of information."

Is Sony right in their legal action?
Does Anonymous have its head up its ass?
Does anyone even care?

Sony is right in their legal action but that doesn't mean what they're doing is morally justified. They're punishing people for restoring functionality that was promised to them, but in the agreement it was said they had the right to remove those features.

also geohotz is a giant f****t with an ego the size of texas and this whole thing really isn't helping that

they keep trying to pull information from him that they shouldn't have (ie his paypal records, full of people who willingly donated to his cause)
