cook the brocoli and put the cheese on top while it's still really hot. if you want a more saucy cheese add a little *milk* to the cheese and melt it in the microwave or on the stove top. don't heat it for too long though. just enough to melt it.
*my bad. left that part out. |

i know how to make steam broccoli, but are yu sure yu just put cheese in the microwave? and how exact does it have to be?

if you're steaming the brocoli just put the cheese on top while it's hot. it should melt. if it doesn't melt all the way then put it in the microwave for like 10-15 seconds.

Kraft singles probably won't melt like valveeta cheese does, so make sure you keep an eye on it. If it doesn't come out very creamy, add some milk to it.

I'd do a quick stovetop cheese sauce: warm up some milk in a saucepan and add slices (like slice up the slices) of American cheese to it. If it gets too loose, add some flour to thicken it up.

I'd do a quick stovetop cheese sauce: warm up some milk in a saucepan and add slices (like slice up the slices) of American cheese to it. If it gets too loose, add some flour to thicken it up. That would probably be your best bet because its nice to have better control of the heat and melting with a stovetop then the random shots you get if you did it in the microwave |
