I have to make a children's pop-up book for a project in school. Does anyone know of any good reference books out there for making pop-ups??

Yeah. Other pop-up books.

Do you want to know "how to make pop-up books" or "what pop-up subjects should be"?

Do you want to know how to make one? Try going to a craft store or something. I'm curious...what is this on?

yes I have to make one from scratch...story and all. It has to be illustrated and then made into a pop-up book.

I live out in the middle of corn country and so as far as finding any good books locally, I'm screwed laugh.gif ...so I was just wondrin if anyone knew of any that are GOOD, so I dont waste my time and money buying one on-line that sucks...ya know

hey i made one in 2nd grade..
i remember that you fold the paper in half, hamburger style, then cut a rectangle in the middle of the closed side. then unfold it and pop it out. you can put another piece of paper on the back to cover up the hole. then glue something on the raised square in the middle. open and close it, TA DA! (: haha im so corny...

Aww...I don't know any specific ones, sorry, but why don't you go to the library and ask the librarian? I'm sure she'd be able to help you. _unsure.gif

can you make an already made children story, but you make it into a pop up book. just make the background of what the text is about
