Actually, not really. I'm 17, a senior-soon-to-be-college-freshman. But I'm starting to feel that seventeen magazine is too childish now... But I know that cosmopolitan/glamour and whatnot are too old. I'm still 17. I'm not worrying about wrinkles and the perfect martini.
Any suggestions? PS Because Seventeen is too young for me now, obviously, the others, Cosmogirl and whatnot are also too young. I need a magazine with my interests! A little more about college survival? A little less about how to catch the eye of that cutie? |

Hm... it's hard to find a magazine that's for younger adults. Hmmm... what about Nylon?

Anything other than college survival peak your interest? There are a TON of magazines out there. I love National Geographic, Popular Science and Smithsonsian (to name a few), so obviously I wouldn't be interested in fashion driven magazines (I have no style what-so-ever haha).
So yeah, do you have anything else that interests you? Or are you merely looking for more mature (but not wrinkle advice heavy) fashion type magazines that cater to the co-ed audience? (I'm not sure such a thing exists, but it would at least narrow things down). |

Take my advice... stay away from those shitty ass women's magazine. It'll rot your brains and turn into one of those "sex in the city" whore-tramps that you see most commonly now a days.

Whore tramp is a bit redundant don't you think?
Vogue and ELL are nice. I like Glamor though, and I am only 17. |

Cosmo? hahahI agree with ELL. Before you actually get a subscription, though, you might want to check them out at the store. You don't have to buy them (be a cheapass like me) just read them. |

Wait do you guys mean ELLE? lol
Yeah I always read my magazines at the bookstore because I'm too cheap to spend money on them. I'm reluctant to suggest anything to you because the magazines that I know of are all either for younger teens, older readers, or straight-up fashion. I think there's a real lack of magazines that are right in the middle (i.e. not too mature or immature). |

I'm in the same situation, well, at least the "senior-soon-to-be-college-freshman" one. I just recently subscribed to Allure & Glamour. Was only like...$15 for a year subscription to both & they are both interesting reads to me.
& doesn't Seventeen have some "College Survival" stuff in there? Least the ones that I've read from time to time do. |
