I don't know whats wrong with my skin.
I put on moistuzer before I put on primer then foundation. But still my face is dry and flakey. It is so grosss. I would not use foundation if my face is clear, but unfortunately I have a lot of acne scars and redness.

I also find it better if I use my fingers to pat on the foundation because when I use brush its moreee flakey.

So my question is how do I make it not flakey/dry looking? Thanks!

i suggest you use foundation where it required a moist sponge. I think rimmel london has some. The water from the sponge acts with the foundation, making it glide on your face and dry it like that. Leaving your face less flaky. Afterward you can touch up with brush and foundation (different foundation than the first) for your scars.

hmm i'm not sure about that, but i have acne too and i definitely make it a rule not to use any makeup at all, i think it makes it worse, particularly when applying primer, then foundation. (i've tried and it makes my skin look really red and uneven even with foundation)

if i were you i'd try some time without the makeup and see how your skin turns out.

Are you using any kind of medication for ur acne?
usually acne meds come with a hardcore moisturizer which
has something that helps with the redness in it.
Mac is the best makeup ever! and they will help you pick out
exactly what you need. If your on a budget Neutrogena has makeup
that has something already in it to help with the acne and they
have really good moisturizer too.

I used to have flaky skin when i was in highschool i went to the doctor and he gave me this type of scar cream and it works amazing.
But i don't have it anymore so maybe your face might be to dry so try some regular lotion only a thin layer though, and only put it on at night.
