My question is, does anyone know somewhere that I could submit a .psd file and have it cut and coded for a myspace music page? Why doesn't this exist... I'm CSS retarted.

I think I get what you're tying to ask and if I'm right, you can't use a .psd file as your background. You need to save it as a .png or .jpeg so it's an image and you can code it.

There is a few ways of going about this but the easiest way would probably be combining the slice tool with a myspace generator. If you head here you can use this myspace generator to do some of the basic coding for you. All you have to do is select your preferences and link to the images that you would like to use. Below is a list of the recommended image sizes when using this particular generator: Banner- Width 800px Height- doesn’t matter Contact Table- Width 300px Height- 150px Network Banner- Width 400px Height- doesn’t matter Sizing For A Professional Background: Mid Container- 800px Width- 1900px Height- 1200px ----------------------------------------------------------------------- I don't recommend using this method because it can limit what assistance people can give you. I would recommend heading over to these to pages and getting a better understanding of HTML/CSS: http://www.w3schools.com/html/default.asp http://www.w3schools.com/css/default.asp Then once you've done that, head over to the myspace layout tutorials here and get stuck in: Just give it a try :) I hope this helps. |
