Will it be available near the end of 2010 or the beginning of 2011? I'm planning on using the Macbook Pro mainly for personal usage / school projects.

There's a good chance they'll be updated in a month or so, so I'd hold off on buying one for now. So says Macrumors, at least.

I'll probably end up buying one come July or August, hopefully a new one comes out around then. Even though I already have a regular macbook, it'll be four years old then and the fact that school's going to actually 'require' me to have a laptop seems like a valid enough excuse to buy one.

Anyone who is thinking of buying one should do so before 2011, changes to tax laws you can be given a tax credit for the purchase of a computer used for educational purposes. probably only applies to college and above...

My friend has one and it's actually not that bad. It would be better if it had the trackpad that the macbook pro has.
You know those people who treat all there things like crap and don't really care? Well I have a friend like that and she owns one, uses it every day, and it has yet to break from it's repeated 10 foot drops on a daily basis. i want to buy one but i'm afraid they'll upgrade soon. lol pretty gay if i spend 2500 for macbook and they upgrade it next month wtff, thats why i hate apple sometimes! Whether they upgrade or not you'll still have a great laptop. Just not the newest one. Also; I think I'll wait for Lion to come out instead of upgrading to snow leopard. What are they gonna name the following operating system? I can't think of anything in the cat family that's bigger than the lion. |

I bet it will be easy enough for a caveman to use qft |

Wo, didn't realize that apple just came out with a new air. Peed a little when I watched the ad.
