I'm agnostic in my beliefs about god and all that, but my friends seem less than convinced.

my christian friends try to convert me,
my athiest friends try to convince me further,
and my other agnostic friends are the same way.

quite frankly, we're stumped.

if you dont know what agnosticism is-

basically it says that we would believe in god if there was more proof. we arent denying there is a god, but simply put- there's more evidence basing all of the scientific theroies as opposed to the bible- so we tend to believe in science over god.

Please make your point clear in what you want from this debate.

I see no question or anything that might spark a debate; this seems more like a short essay on your personal religious preferences or something.

Maybe she wants to hear what other agnostic people feel about this because everyones aproach on being agnostic is a bit different..

If that makes sense...

i don't know what i am
i'm a confused young man
i go back and forth between deism and atheism it seems like

i duno about agnosticism
i guess if there were more proof i would believe in god like that, but there isn't going to be more proof in my opinion, so i don't think i can be that because i'd feel it's pointless

no.
never.

scientology is the basis of religion that a galactic ruler took some aliens to earth, killed them off with hydrogen bombs, and their souls are in our bodies today.

no, i'm not a scientologist.

you should really try to get the meaning of something before you go and post it on here..

What does age have to do with this? Some people (obviously not yourself) find their faith to be a fascinating thing and find solace in the fact that they have something to believe in.

Why? Because when you are 14, most people go to the movies, hang out with their friends at the park, and not be all emo and depressed over pointless things.

I believe in some sort of Higher Power but I don't think it's "God". I don't think that there is a big spooky parent figure all around that looks down on me and cares what I do. I honestly don't think this Higher Power gives a shit about humanity, not because it is an a-hole, but because it is just so beyond us. It is an entity that no human mind could ever comprehend. That's why I don't believe in the bible.

But, that has never stopped me from enjoying all the beauty in the world. Like how you can smell the seasons, how music can lift you, and how love can change you. I appreciate life and I enjoy it the best I can. I don't need a God to help me love life.
