My friend is having her birthday on October 15 and I don't know what to get her. Her favorite clothing is Abercrombie, so I thought maybe I should get her a gift card-but Abercrombie stuff is really expensive. She's Korean so if people are korean here do you have any idea about what korean people like. I thought maybe I'd get her something to do with Anime but I don't really know where to find it and if she'll like it(because I haven't seen her in like 6 months because I moved). So if you guys or particularly korean girls have any idea what to get please post here.

Gift cards are always nice. Get them to places like Target or Blockbusters.. or even the theatre or Starbucks.

Is there any Korean girls or whoever here that can answer my question?

Err, she's your friend. Even if someone that was Korean responded, your friend might not like the same thing...
How much are you willing to spend on her? Get her something from Abercrombie (a shirt or something). Courtney's idea is a good one, you shouldn't be so quick to dismiss it. She was just trying to help.
What else does she like? Don't get her anime if you don't know if she likes it... not all Korean girls like anime.

I'm going to the mall tomarrow and I think I'll just get her a gift card because
a)I really don't like to argue with so many people
b)Its an easy thing to buy
c)I know you guys never heard of her
d)I'm not Korean so I do not know what koreans like
e) I am tired of making all these letters about y I'll just get a gift card.
So thankyou very much for your help-but one more thing-if you know any popular korean muscicians can use please pm me the name?? A mod can close this topic now biggrin.gif

Where do you live? It's hard to get Korean CD's if you don't go to a korean CD store, you could always try buying online at yesasia.com if you have a creditcard.

You say "I don't really know what Koreans like" like if Asians couldn't like what white (or any other race) like.

That's not a good way to think. I'm sure not all Koreans like the same thing. I'm Chinese, but I don't listen to Chinese music... Have you talked to her recently? You really must know something else that she likes...

exactly. everyone's different, so naturally we all like different things. you can't just stereotype it and say that just because you're of a certain ethnicity, you're all going to like the same thing. i think you should get her something general, like a gift card.

Before a mod closes this, i'd like to say
please stop being racist.

Just because your friend is Korean doesn't mean anything. And i'd like to know why you refused SillyCourtney's answer.. because she's not Korean?
