yea i just noticed i put this in the debate forum accidently. this needs to be moved to writing. sorry.
a memoir of my 16th summer. how i miss that time. Take Me Back This isn’t fair!! It was the dawn after my darkest hour A rose opened after all my April showers When the crows finally flew away My eyes were what linked us together The entire world was reborn And it wasn’t because of the weather Only when I began to sing my sorrow Did I see for me a brighter tomorrow That was three years ago this may Why can’t it still be her today? There were a hundred people The sky was royal purple I saw a gem, a hole in the tarp A tunnel from the prison in which I was confined She was an angel delivering me from my hell Whipped away my grey sky with the slightest whim She tempted me with her gregarious charm It was a dream come true straight out of a fairy tale My interest in her found its way to the surface As she filtered through the dozens of people I followed her up the steps to the balcony Looked her in the eye. Closed mine And I thought “could this be it?” I moved in closer to plant the kiss Her lips then came towards mine Contact! Then I woke up. THIS ISN’T FAIR!
