There was a Puma outlet built not too far from my house and its the only one in the city. It's only been open for 2 weeks and it seems like every bit of a million plus people (not including the immigrants) have a pair of wild colored Pumas. I got a simple color but I went to the mall yesterday and I saw at least 5 people wearing ill colored kicks that didn't even go with their outfit. I'm talking neon green/ black pumas with a pink shirt and stuff like that. Are Pumas in where you live?

cool.gif I think they're pretty cool cool.gif

PLus, Puma had Elephant Man in their commercial, of course they're cool.

edit/ They're called the PUMA H. STREET and they'll be posted in the next reply because I'm having tech difficulties /edit

We don't have Puma stores here...but there are tons in Hong Kong. I like Puma. I like it when people go out for the wild colours. Who wants some boring colours that everyone else has?

Yeah, there has been like 6 people in my grade who has a pair. Personally, I think they're ugly and it's not really my style. There's a Puma outlet somewhere 30-40 minutes away in this huge outlet plaza thing. They have like, 90 different styles of shoes. They also have clothes, but it's hella expensive.

not to be rude, but whats up with you and sweatshops?

pumas arent "in" here. some people wear them, occasionally, but not like everyone has them

Had to do a report on child labor and the mistreatment of children on a glabal scale and I was disgusted at what I dug up on Nike. It made me feel guilty to own 6 pairs of Air Force 1s. I sold/gave them away the next day because I felt morally obliged to do so. 'To know and not do is insubordination,' for all I know, the shirt I have on ym back could've been made in a sweatshop, but I don't know that. If I did, best believe I wouldn't be wearing the same brand anymore.

i wish i lived close to you...

but on the real... ive heard this argument about sweatshops and whatever, and although i dont support it, giving away my jordans/nikes wouldn't make much of a difference in a society where people camp out for 4 days outside of niketown just to sell a pair of limited shoes on ebay... i feel sorry for the little indonesian kids who hafta make my beautiful shoes for 6 cents an hour, but by not wearing my shoes im not helping them.. & i love my shoes

Yo Basick, I fell you on that one. But what was weird about it was that it really drove me crazy thinking about some kid being forced to make my special edition Puerto Rico AF1s just for a few pennies.
