what kind of mouse do you use?
    (ruled out that one cause there isnt one for mac.) http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41X2...L500_AA280_.jpg  (looks worse from the angle)  those are all the ones im looking at. and i need to keep it reasonably affordable so they are all between 30-40. |

mouse on one computer - Microsoft Sidewinder X8
 mouse on other computer - Microsoft Sidewinder X5 looks the same, except without the LCD screen, and only goes to 2000 DPI instead of 4000 DPI Keyboard on one computer - Luxeed Dynamic Pixel  Keyboard on other computer - Das Keyboard Ultimate  Also on one computer, generic microsoft mouse (as you can see, microsoft makes the best mice) and a generic tactile keyboard I got from a thrift store.
