I know there is already a topic about this under debate, but please mods! for my sake dont merge it please! Im curious to know peoples opinions and im comparing them to what my class thinks.
So elections are coming up pretty quickly, and the main subject in my government class right now is the election and what Obama and McCain think. One of the top things that people have mentioned was abortion. There were a lot of guys who said that they were against abortion and more girls who were pro-choice. To me i would have thought it more as the oppisite, thinking that the guys would be more likely to be pro-choice and have more of the females be agasint abortion. Im pro-choice and throughout discussions in any class that ive been in ive always been scolded about that and have actually had someone call me a "baby killer". So im interested to know what you guys and gals will say in the poll. Also trust me, im aware there is another subject of this in debate, but this is me comparing the students answers in my government class to your answers on cB. So please dont merge. |

you can't do a poll like that; you have to vote in both

Since guys aren't as affected by pregnancy, they would be more likely to think it's wrong to get an abortion. We girls are the ones who would actually have to carry the baby for nine months and take care of it. Guys can just decide to cut off contact with someone they get knocked up, but our only way out would be to get the abortion.

I'm one of those people who is kind of on the fence about it. I don't personally agree with it at all. But I don't think my beliefs should be forced on other people. Oh, and I'm female.
