Which of these traits would turn you off the most if a guy had them?
For me, it'd be having too large of an ego or him trying to be someone he's not. A guy should sometimes be modest and always be genuine. |

Definitely bad hygiene. Mainly because if he stunk or smelled of goat ass, why would I want to be close to him, ever? That'd be the first thing to turn me off, anyway.
Boring guys really turn me off, so I'm not sure how I would feel about having a guy who's "too talkative." I would have to say that gossipy guys come next. I rarely gossip. I say things to others that I have already said to the person I'm talking about. I need a man in the relationship; not some faggy-gossipy guy-girl. |

If my feelings got crushed by someone or something
Or I'm feeling really upset about something - insert terrible something and reason for me to be upset - Then I'm supposed to be able to run to my boyfriend, bury my face in his shoulder, and cry. Or, I'd hope so. If he just looks at me and goes "psh. suck it up and stop crying." I'm pretty sure I'd hate him for life. Girls are emotional. (most. I'm not saying we all are). I need somebody who, even if he doesn't understand, will be slightly sympathetic. This works in reverse, too. If I'm happy, and he's in a bad mood, he is not allowed to tell me to shut up or go somewhere else. insensitivity. Bleh. |

I'll have to say that smoking is a major turn-off.

When you're busy watching trashy TV like reruns of "Rock of Love" and he suddenly bursts in on you and changes the channel to ESPN or, even worse, turns on the gamecube and starts playing Smash without even asking if you're ok with it and when you complain and try to kill him, he just laughs and keeps playing/watching his game/sport.
Is there a term for this? Tv-hoggishness? Domineering? Inconsiderate asshoggery? ... maybe its a personal issue. |

My boyfriend does this sometimes and it pisses the hell out of me. He calls it being blunt when he talks to me after I've gotten my feelings hurt. Psh. - Smoking. - Insensitivity. - Anger/temper issues. - Hanging up on the phone with me when he's mad. - Horniness (Some girls like it, but too much of it is just... eh.) - Not treating me with the respect I deserve as a woman. - Lying - Hiding things from you, mad turnoff. |

All of the above on the poll...but I also can't deal with immature people, like this one guy always called me mama & I started feeling like it because I was always telling him about how he should be courteous to my roommates & other things that he should've known from good home training...plus he was just too cocky for me; but he's a track star from Miami so what was I thinking in the first place...

i hate sexism/male chauvinism. also, i hate guys who think they're the shit when they're really just shit. arrogance/cockiness is also a huge turn off. bad hygiene sucks too, but at least you can fix that...

All of those things turn me off, but if he smells and looks like shit, i wouldn't even attempt to talk to him... but i'm married now so i don't have that issue anymore :)
