Last semester I took an online course at my college. Very nice, easy to use . . . my teacher seemed like a dumbass but besides that it was nice. In order to take tests I just drove to the testing center at the college.
I was taking a lot of classes at the time, and just didn't have that time to get that extra class in, so took it online. If you can teach yourself, are an independent learner and such, then it is very nice, and i would recommend you using it.
Planning on taking another next semester

yeah its easy. Taking it full time on my 1st semester of my 2nd year.
My college is like 8 hours away, so all tests/exams are taken online.
Its great if your able to get the material without a teacher present, you can still get help by messesging other classmates and your teacher but the whole at least have it in by 11:55 that night is awesome.
I don't work but i pretty much sleep all day.

I did my senior year of High School online, and it was AWESOME, so I think I am going to continue my college online.

My friend was going to take classes online, but she opted out because she wouldn't be able to be in the classroom setting and interact.

As far as the cheating thing goes, I take my math quiz online, and it times you. I still take a long time to work out a math problem, so hopefully they don't think I'm cheating. XD.gif

I'm taking a philosophy course online (Symbolic Logic - it's a load of bull).

Seems pretty straightforward so far. I have homework to hand in at the end of each week (via a "quiz" online; the time's unlimited but you only get 2 chances to do it). I only have two mid-terms and no final. For those tests I have to go to the campus and take them in a supervised room, but still on the computer.

My mom took a few online courses when she was getting her CPA. The tests are usually open-note and difficult enough that cheating probably wouldn't have helped her at all.
