I know what it is.
One of the mods has been taking all the advertising threads and moving them to LJ help without closing them, just so I'll freak out and wonder what's going on. That's what it is, right? Yeah? Well, IT'S NOT FUNNY. |

Hahaha. I saw that yesterday. Honestly, so many advertisement threads have been posted in LJ in the past.

Yeah, it's Advertisers' Heaven.
Can we just delete them? I mean, all those red x's are ugly and sad. |

You should delete them. Advertising bots can use old posts as an anchor point to post more ads.
You should also delete the accounts, and disable registering from whatever domain the user used. Most ad bots use sketchy email domains (often Russian sites) that no legitimate user would ever use, so it's safe to block them. Maybe even put an IP ban on a certain block of IPs that are known to generate spam. Again, legitimate users won't be using most of these blocks. |

I'm actually gonna work on deleting them now and checking IP addresses for any that come up with several results to send off to an admin. |
