I haven't, but I know people who had to repeat a year in Middle School.

There was also a kid in my Kindergarten class who failed Kindergarten. How sad.

a lot of times kids are held back in kindergarten if their not emotionally ready or something. That's what happened to one of my friends.

^ I think he was held back because he refused to do his work. He didn't know his numbers of how to spell and I think the school didn't really know what to do with him. Where I live a lot of people like to put their kids in the head start program so that they have a year or two of experience before going to Kindergarten.

Nope, but know a girl who flunked 8th grade twice. The first time was for a boy, and the second I think was just because she was an idiot.

Sounds like she was an idiot both times and just made an excuse for the first time.

my school system didn't go by years, it went by classes.
if you didn't get the necessary number of credits you didn't get your diploma.

so it wasn't possible to fail a year of highschool.
