Over the past summer, I re-read a majority of Neil Gaiman's novels as well as books written by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes, Brian James, and Margaret Wild. As of late, I've been having an itch to re-read John Irving's A Prayer for Owen Meany as well (or just anything Irving).

Definitely! I've re-read Lirael countless times, Wuthering Heights 3-4 times, The Vampire Armand possibly 10x, the Boxcar Children #1, more than 200 for sure... And a lot of other ones. haha. I love to re-read!

I always reread books. I always read them at least once right after I finish it. So it's like I read the last page then flip over to the first again. laugh.gif

Yeah, if it's a book I really like. But it can get boring after the fifth time or so.

Yeah, I've read my favourite trilogy ... 3 times, now.

And you do miss little details the first time around. So when you re-read, tiny little tidbits of info you haven't encountered yet leap out at ya.

As soon as I've read a book I often feel like reading it again, straight after.
I fight the temptation though and re-read it much later.

I've read The Devil Wears Prada like four times now. mellow.gif

There are two books that I don't mind reading over and over again:

Life of Pi, by Yann Martel, and Fahrenheit 451, by Ray Bradbury.

I only reread the books I like, usually awhile after I've read them. I have this thing where I have to read Tithe every beginning of the school year. laugh.gif

I can read Night over and over and it still effects me the same way it did the first time I read it, which is rare for me.

hhmm, I like to read some books over and over. One of them is the The Enchanted Forest Chronicles by Patricia Wrede. I can't remember any other titles. But I usually read them over if I don't have anything else to read.
