I don't know if I'm even in the right section to post this... but I'm sort of desperate and couldn't think of any other forum that would be better than createblog.
I need to make a logo for my Athletic Council at school for our shirts. Pretty much I need something that represents sports / athletics. But the problem is, it's gotta be something universal. I can't just have a basketball or soccer ball, because that excludes other sports. :/ Does anybody have any ideas on what I could do? GREATLY Appreciated! Thank you! -- |

think along the same lines that athletic gear companies do. nike and places like that don't use logos that reflect upon one specific sport because it has to go on a variety of sports equipment. this is why so many athletic companies use abstracted shapes that can reflect ideas like motion, precision, etc.
be more broad and abstract. think of qualities all the sports have in common, like movement, competition, work, winning, accuracy, perseverance etc etc. the more literal you are the harder it will be with subject matter like this. |
