I am 15, and I feel like I am ready to have sex. It just feels comfortable now. About a year ago, I thought I would never have the need until marriage, but things have changed. I have thought about it carefully and frequently lately.

There is a boy I have been with for over two years, and I really like him. He has never pressured me into having sex, I feel completely ready, but nervous. I am not some trashy slut who will have sex with anyone, he is the only one i would feel comfortable with

The thing is, I want it, but parts of me don't want to take the risk of pregnancy. I refuse to take birth control because it made my friend gain weight and she used to be my size, and now her body isn't so hott lol.

I don't want to get pregnant, I have so much going for me. I am in a ballet company and I am an involved, well-rounded, top rank student. I don't want to throw that all away having a kid as a teenager. I just don't know what to do.

Do not have sex with him unless you take some means of preventive pregnancy and std prevention.

I know you might think hey this guy won't want to screw me forever, or whatever. Seriously if you are this well-rounded either take the pill (the pill doesn't have the same effects on everyone) or go pleasure yourself.

Please use condoms. Or should I say use them correctly. Also, there are other forms that you can "double up" on, like using a condom and a spermacide.

This might help.

As always, abstinence is the best way to prevent unwanted pregnancies.

Why would you want to prevent sex? tongue.gif
All jokes aside, if you want to be as safe as possible, go on birth control pills and wait for it to kick in, and use a condom properly during sex.

I'd say that you should wait. :/
Just as you said, you have so much going for you. You shouldn't throw it all away and take the risk. Who knows if you'll be with this guy for the rest of your life? Why would you want to have sex with someone that you won't be with later on in life?
I think you've given yourself reason enough to be abstinent.

But, if you really want to do it, then you should definitely use protection.
Just please don't do anything that you will regret in the long run. You should think long and hard about what this could do to your future.

Condoms, duh.

If you didn't think of that, then you aren't ready and you're to young. I seriously don't think you should have sex, I mean if you believed you could wait until marriage then I think you should go for it. But if not, and you decide to go with it, then I highly advise talking to your boyfriend about it. Think of the risks and the things that could happen.

What would both of you do if you got pregnant?

Are you ready to take care of another life?

Do you even know how to take care of a baby?

Are you financially stable for a child?

see, its a lot to think about. And just think if you have a kid, you'll probably never go back to school. You always say you will, but you won't.
