okay, i need a book to read. nothing that will make me think too much because i dont want to confuse myself. i want a fiction "girly" book that will make me laugh. and something to relate to.

no harry potter or any tacky drugstore romance novel. or anything with a "deep, hidden meaning". like i said, i dont want to think. and i don't want to be "emotionally moved" by a book either.

books i like:
sloppy firsts
gossip girls
second helpings
the a-list
feeling sorry for celia
the year of secert assignments
what my mother doesn't know
the sisterhood of traveling pants

suggest, kaythanks.

Angus, Thongs and Full Frontal Snogging?
Confessions of a Shopaholic?

I haven't read both of them but my friends have read gossip girls and the sisterhood of traveling pants and i think these are two books that you might like that fit under what you want to read.

You should read the second and third books of the sisterhood of traveling pants series. They're both really good books.

My friend read this book called " the lovely bones" or something....she said it was a good book. I think it's about a teenage mother? Eh, she said it was good and I do trust her judgement, so maybe you should try it out.

I was gonna suggest the 3rd Traveling pants, but I guess they beat me to it.
But yeah, I read the 1st and 2nd one ( and i usually don't like these "girly" books ) and I thought it was a really good book.

Actually, I'm gonna buy the 3rd book when it comes out in paperback (cheaper)

Anyways, my friends all read books by Meg Cabot. One of my friends say she's an excellent author.

"The Lovely Bones" is about a girl that had died after she was raped and is now looking back onto the world and seeing how everyone is coping. It was a good book- I would suggest it, but I don't think it would exactly fit the type of book you want to read.
And yeah, all Meg Cabot books are good, all the books suggested are good books that might be what you're looking for.
