starting tomorrow, were having pop playing quizzes, in front of the entire class as incentive to practice. cry.gif i dont do well in front of people. its not fair. and as my band director put it about 30 times today, its "old school"

I always planed to quit band in ninth grade, which is next year. Plus I'm not commited to flute or piano AT ALL...though I can be pretty good at piano.

So maybe I'm a semi-band geek.? I dunno.

and our band practically idolizes hers.

they were amazing and we caught them on a bad day, from sitting on the back sideline

pop playing quizzes are evil. i cant play the trio in his honor at all :(

and so, alright, offline, im not that much of a band geek. im a band geek for the sake of being in the band room, and enjoying what comes along with being in band (competitions, etc) but i hate the clarinet.

Our director recently started doing these too. We were tested on a particularly hard one a couple of days ago, which he tested EVERYONE on, and everyone f*cked it up.

Evil.

i havent had to play yet, but i reeeally dont want to. i still cant play the trio. practically no one can, so we all just drop out, then come in and play the trills. not the way to do well at festival, but it works for now.

speaking of festival, the BD said another BD asked if we were going to have the best second band at festival this year, implying that we already do have the best first band. which is good, because that means that even though our marching isnt as good as collins hills, were better at playing sitting down.

Band rocks! =)

In my freshman year, I was so caught up in band, that I joined every band class available. happy.gif But because I had the usual normal classes, I had little time and the homework that was put onto me and it was uber hard.
But anyway, Imma band geek tongue.gif

In Marching Band, I am in Colorguard
In Concert, Symphonic, and Wind Ensemble, I play the flute cool.gif

I am a band geek!

I can play the oboe[main instrument], flute, and sax.

But I'm gonna be in the pit for marching season next year.

Haha... I'm the only oboist in my symphonic band!

Name: Chau [Pronounced: 'Chow']
AIM: lilphoenixpunk

P.S.- Marching band should be a sport.
