It's february, black history month and I just wanted to ask you guys which african-american do you admire the most? (not trying to be racist) martin luther king definetely. We still remember him and we always will biggrin.gif

I've always admired Frederick Douglass. He was a very significant leader int he abolitionist movement. happy.gif Yea, I learned about him in APUSH (AP US History) just recently. He helped prove that African-Americans as well as any colored folk was capable of speaking up for their rights and that they were as equal as any man. :]

I know all of them really contributed, but I admire him a lot..we have been reading his speaches and analyizing them in class..first of all, he was a huge step on changed discrimination around..and hes so intellectual...just the way he thinks i guess

I see Serena and Venus Williams and see such strong beautiful women succeeding in a world that is usually dominated by white people. Though I am not black, I still find inspiration in their story.
