For a specific entry only, click "edit HTML" then paste this in. Change #000000 to whatever color you want, and TEXT to your content:
CODE
<I><FONT color=#000000>TEXT</FONT></I>

For the italic words in ALL the entries to change to another color, put this into website stats:
CODE
<style type="text/css">
.blogbody b, .standard b, p b, italic {
/* edits italic text in your entry */
font-weight: italic;
color: #000000;
 }
</style>

change #000000 to whatever color you want.

Whoops, sorry.
Maybe you could try this:

CODE
<style type="text/css">

i {
color: #000000;
}
</style>
