My school is very ghetto. My classroom is ghetto, the playground is horrible, crooked hallway, dirty restroom, broken restroom door, crooked ground, old rusty fence, and etc ..
The ceiling in my classrom is getting out of hand. It's might collapse becuase the ceiling is cracking open and unattachble. Our locker is so old and it's already damage. Princible already knew about the issue but still refuse not to fix our classroom. WOW, WHAT A GREAT SCHOOL SPIRIT ! |

Not really. Well..."poor" ghetto - not really. The school is doing pretty well when it comes to finances. As for the "lifestyle" ghetto - not really, either. Our school mostly consists of upper middle-class Asians and upper middle-class caucasians, so it's not really ghetto.
In fact, we laugh at all the people who try to be all ghetto. =] |

i didn noe my skool was ghetto i jus went there cuz a bunch of ppl im cool wif go there in like november of freshman yr this guy got jumped so bad that they broke his jaw in like 2 places and slashed him jus cuz he said he was crip other than crap like dat my skool is pretty gay

my school used to be cool, but then it got ghetto this year. at one of our dances the vice principal was the DJ because we were too poor to get a real DJ. *shivers* worst dance ever.

I'll try to answer your question, although I'm not sure how you've used the term "ghetto" since it can mean completely different things. My school is poor, yes. Has gangsters? Rarely so it's not ghetto to the point (which you might be referring to) like in the movie "Dangerous Minds." |

Elementary: I didn't think so. We had a small play ground but a big soccer field. Then again, everything is big in the eyes of a small child. Education wise, I liked what I learned in class.
Junior High: The first junior high I attended didn't have a gym. For PE, all 30 students squeezed into a trailer size classroom if it's raining. I loved the school though and PE was my all around favorite subject. The second junior high I went to was horrible. I hated it. Kids were smoking across the street because it was illegal to smoke on school grounds . My homeroom was in a broken down trailer. I remember feeling the classroom swaying side to side when it was windy. Textbooks were out of date, dirty, with pages missing. High School: My first high school specialized in teaching foreign languages which was a plus since I knew what I wanted to learn. The school used to be in top rankings in the state of Texas... things changed. My Alma Mater is pretty neat and I have no complaints towards the facility. The people who attended though are hard to get along with. |

there's a couple "ghetto" people but..according to some of the people posted in here, it would be considered a "preppy snobby white people" school, since most of it's white. not that all of us are rich. or snobby. or preppy. but whatever. pretty small school. http://www.union.k12.in.us/whs/ voila. |
