bad music, who sucks and why Options

Here is my short little list of terribly horrible bands/singers. I've constructed it from my own experience. I have also made it a point to listen to more than one song by each of these bands, so you can't try to convict me as being wrong. After y'all read mine, post your own!

New Found Glory. Simply the worst band I have ever heard. How bout they stop singing out of their noses, and then resign from the music industry?
Simple Plan. Another nasal band. Get a better voice, and speed up your songs.
Led Zeppelin. They are not heavy. They are not metal. They are not heavy metal. So, why do people claim otherwise?
Yellowcard. Nasal bands need to stop being signed. Lose that violin or whatever the hex it is.
Avril Lavigne. I feel like I'm in Yodelville whenever I hear her.
Metallica. They just plain suck.
Blink 182. Too poppy.
Good Charlotte. Too trying-to-be-gothic.
Hoobastank. A terrible voice -&- terribly slow songs.
Nickelback. Wow. Don't even get me started.
Finger Eleven. This band is great if you wanna be bored out of your mind. Speed it up and get verses to your songs. 5 minutes of the same music and lyrics does not make a good song.
Godsmack. They sound like a pack of monks.
Limp Bizkit. Jesus Christ. No, no. Just no.
Evanescence. Frankly, I'm not very fond of opera. I also hate spelling the band name. Let's get a few more e's and s/c sounds in there.
Jet. His voice is annoying. The music is annoying. The songs are dumb -&- pointless.
Linkin Park. Bands with more than 4 or 5 people in it aren't worth it. Besides Ill Nino, and still, Ill Nino isn't the greatest. Anyway, 6 white band members all trying to rap & the singer sounds like a rat climbed in his throat and died, causing him to have to sing out of his nose. Nasal -&- rap. The two worst things you could possibly combine together.
Beastie Boys. All their songs sound the same. They are just another band of white rappers. Are they senior citizens yet?

I'm sorry if I offended anybody. Offending people is what I do best, even if it's unintentional.

*Sigh* I could not disagree MORE with you on Evanescence. They have talent. And to deny that is simply sheer musical ignorance. Their lyrics are meaningful, Amy is a wonderful piano player (yeah, believe it or not, with all that talent she doesn't have she plays the piano at live shows. Who would have thought she'd had nine years of classical piano lessons...), John, Will, and Terry are great with their guitars, and Rocky is a wonderful drummer. Gwen Stefani's voice doesn't even compare to Amy Lee's. It isn't operatic. Evanescence isn't Opera. (Remember, they're a BAND not just Amy.) Just because Amy ranges in the soprano side of a woman's musical voice doesn't make her have an operatic voice. Yes, Gwen has a woman’s voice but notice that it is between alto and soprano. There are many different ranges of women’s voices...and obviously the only ones that
have a woman's voice to you is someone who sings in the Gwen Stefani range. Also remember Amy is a woman...so I hope to God she has a woman's voice. As for spelling Evanescence...not that hard... Sound it out.

Anyway, in my opinion, the worst band would have to go to that Linkin Park/ JayZ band. I love Linkin Park...but with JayZ? Hell no.

I think one of them is asian. ? But i really hate them. They are trying to be a rock/rap band, but they can't get it through their thick heads that rap cannot go with rock! Well, atleast they make it sound impossible -.-

Beastie Boy's/Metallica(Black Album was the only good one) earlier music was pretty good but now it's just popularized but wow. How could you put Led Zepplin up there? I wonder how much of their music you have ever "experienced" considering your age? I bet alot of musicians have been inspired by Led Zepplin. Example: Listen to P. Diddy's song "Come With Me" then listen to Led Zepplins "Kashmir"...And since when did they ever classify themselves as metal?..Anyways, the main artists I dislike now are Avril Lavigne, ICP, Slipknot, Kittie, Lil John and anyone else like him, I also have had a thing disliking Creed for some reason....I hope nobody lists Red Hot Chili Peppers or Incubus. But do tell me, do you listen to musicians that actually play instruments?

They're...not that bad. I liked the singing voice for Mulan, at least they're talented and can sing unlike the american voice actors in videogames. They needed like, another singer to take their place in singing. Personally, comparing the voice actors of videogames to the ones in Disney Movies, at least the ones in Disney are far more talented singing-wise, not only voice acting. I think the only Disney movie that had an actual performer sing instead of the voice actor was probably Mulan and Treasure Planet. They had someone else sing in place of the voice actor instead of the voice actor themselves singing it. So sometimes they would have a singer sing the theme songs instead of the voice actor. So not all of the disney voice actors sing, there are some people who do it for them.

I grew up listening to Led Zepplin. My parents love them. I just don't. I don't know if they classify themselves as metal, but I've seen em in magazines, articles and websites and they're classified as metal.

Yes, I only listen to musicians who play instruments. What would be the point if they didn't??

ok... this topic is old and annoying... first off who ever said gc's new album sounded like white rap obviously hasn't spent much time acutually listening to it. oh and good charlotte shows are good. i mean joel's voice slightly sucks a little becuase he tries to hard to have a certain sound but benji has the voice of and angel. that was in no way intended to offend anyone becuase i love gc and they wouldn't be the same with out joel. next linkin park as an awesome live show. i went to projekt revolution in august and it was amazing... zepplin rocks... simple plan is getting a little annoying becuase i'm tired of seeing pierre everywhere... he's even invading my sleep with high pitched giggles... anyway. i do have dislikes but i don't brodcast them to the world. i mean i don't like avril, ashlee, gwen, justing, britney, hilary, raven... you know all the pop stuff... i did like gwen in no doubt tho... i'm just really tired of people complaining about different bands or genres. my friend is one of those people that has something bad to say about every band i like. hoodastank.- all the songs sound exactly the same- whiney, and annoying and if i had to hear the reason one more time i think i will cry. i failed a chem quiz because i could hear it in the background and it made me twitch
nickleback.- ewww crappy music. who sounds like all those other crappy bands with annoying deep voiced lead singers

good charlotte.- ick. theyre getting even worse. at least they were entertaining on their second album (or the 3 songs i heard off it) and now...theyre everything they were said to be and more
simple plan.- they were a tad better live, but the pop punk junk is annoying, especially since the lead singers voice is terrible

i completely argee. i hate how people listen to those bands and think that they're listening to the best of the best of music... when it really isn't the case. and no one ever bashes any of those bands because people think they're "sooo great", when really they're just what you said: overrated.
