Yeah I have a best guy friend that I love to death and people constantly ask if we are "together", and one of my friends came up to me the other day saying how much he thinks my best friend likes me. It's so aggravating because I'm sure these other people have close friends of the opposite sex also.

im so, so glad that my best friend is a guy <3 hes the greatest. i mean hes not like your boyfriend, but your companion - hes there for you when you need him to be and he CAN say sweet things to cheer you up - even though he is not dating you. you can be so relaxed around him because hes like that too, haha. and plus, you can talk to eachother and tell eachother why this guy is hurting you or something like that. you get me?

both times i've had a female best friend i've ended up liking her, and both times i've gone out with her, but both times they eventually just wanted to be my friend again.
it's totally alright. btw watch and see, he might have liked you / likes you now / will like you in the future, and if he does try to look at him outside of your 'like a brother to me' perspective cause if a guy gets that (i've gotten it 3 times) it hurts like HELL. |

that happened to me in 6th grade! i was like best friends with this one girl and everyone was like are y'all going out or are y'all going to go out. and we just were just really good friends.
but now my best friend is a guy. me and the girl just kinda drifted apart. -_- |

I don't have a best friend of the opposite sex..It's hard to open up to a guy; you can't tell if they're interested or just trying to get into you..Some guys are jerks, while others or sweet but their expressions can be deceiving. You can't really tell what type of person they are.

My best friend is a guy. We've known eachother since about 5th grade, (he's in 11th and I'm in 10th now) and my dad and his mom went to highschool together so our families have known eachother forever, lol. He's my angel and the most amazing person in the world. Yes, he has a girlfriend and that has caused a lot of issues, but we work through it. We stick by eachother because we love eachother. Sometimes we go for weeks without spending quality time together, but we forgive and forget and move on. :satisfied: He's the best thing that's ever happened to me besides God and my best female friend. I just...omg I love them both so much.

i used to have loads of guy best friends.. but the ones i thought were my brothers ended up abusing me as we grew older =/ so i try to avoid close relationship with guy friends.. sucks =(
