I think gay's should get married. Then they can be as unhappy as the rest of us.
Honestly, if it doesnt' interfier directly with my life or goals, then I don't care. They can do whatever they want. Sure some of you people will say it's gross...But guess what, what they do in the privacy of there own homes, is their own business. Some of you will say "but they are going to hell for being fags!" Guess what...Still not your business. If they go to hell, well at least they had fun on earth while they were alive.. It's not like they are going to bring you down to hell with them simply because you know about there gayness...IT IS THEIR CHOICE...So leave them the hell alone.
No, I'm not gay either...I simply don't believe in putting a person down because of their life choices.. Again, it doesn't effect my life at all if some gay man down the street wants to make out and have anal sex with some other dude.. Unless they ask you to join...Now that's where I draw the line. tongue.gif
Have a nice freakin day~

i don't think they can do whatever they want.

it affects society. and there is no right to happiness. if someone was murdered in their home, would it be their own business?

i agree with Podomaht this has got to be one of the post i dont really agree with, even though im all for gay marriage and all u was givin a good argument as to why its unacceptable but this, this i dont get we do have the right to land life and the persuit of happiness. and the "idont think THEY should be able to do what they want. i guess i agree on that to some point. they are human just like us only diffrance from us and them is that they are homosexual...thats the only diffrance i see i dont get how it affects society sorry if i come off to being blind but what they do in the privacy in there homes is none of our business.

ok. if a homosexual wanted to start shooting everyone, should we give them the right to do it?

it affects society because it will affect the birthrate. also, it does not fit the definition of marriage, union between a man and woman. breaking the law does affect society.

Why don't you not imagine them.....LEave them alone, let them do what they want as long as they aren't hurting anyone...

Kryo...They aren't hurting society.. Better to let them live their lives how they want then to make them live one way unhappily.. Personally, I think your hurting society more with your biggot comments.

there is no right to happiness, only pursuit of hapiness. they can still get married, maybe even have a civil union. i don't see how i am being intolerant at all.

They are pursuing happiness. They are trying to do what they want without hurting anyone, while people like you tell them they are wrong.

they are wrong. marriage is between a man and a woman. not man and man, woman and woman, man and dog, man and blow up doll etc.

That's only one definition of it. I can show you plenty that say otherwise... It's not agreed on exactly what a marriage is, My definition runs something like "A legally and religiously recognized arrangement between two individuals whom have created a close personal union of love."

couple voluntarily joined for life (or until divorce);
www.cogsci.princeton.edu/cgi-bin/webwn

a close and intimate union;
www.cogsci.princeton.edu/cgi-bin/webwn

An ancient practice of taking a life's companion or long term sexual/social partner.
www.aznewage.com/dictionary%20m-n.htm

A legally recognized and/or socially approved arrangement between two or more individuals that carries certain rights and obligations and usually involves sexual activity.

QUOTE
In the English common law tradition, from which our legal doctrines and concepts have developed, a marriage was a contract based upon a voluntary private agreement by a man and a woman to become husband and wife.  Marriage was viewed as the basis of the family unit and vital to the preservation of morals and civilization.  Traditionally, the husband had a duty to provide a safe house, pay for necessities such as food and clothing, and live in the house.  The wife's obligations were maintaining a home, living in the home, having sexual relations with her husband, and rearing the couple's children.  Today the underlying concept that marriage is a legal contract still remains but due to changes in society the legal obligations are not the same.

that pretty much says it

So far the only argument against it has been "The bible asys its wrong!"

You know what? the bible asys CAPATILISIM is a mortal sin, punishable by death!

Wearing CLOTHES WITH 2 DIFFRENT FABRICS is PUNISHABLE BY DEATH!

SLAVERY, WOMEN AS PROPERTY, aND ANIMAL SACRIFICE are ALLOWED!

clearly, the bible has a great message and its word is true, but these are merely repeating ancient laws, not moral rules
