I celebrate it.
But we don't get any days off, either. I think it's stupid how Jewish people can take the day off for Yom Kippur (i think), and not have an excuse. But asian people can't, and if you do, you can't say that you were celebrating Chinese New Years as an excuse. |

Aw I wish we did.
For Chinese New Years, when I have school, my mom usually takes me to Carl's Jr. or something.. in the morning. But this year my parents and grandparents are going to be in China. |

Break? For Chinese New Year's? I frigging wish. I get ski break in about.. two weeks though.
![]() ... Well. I'm at a get-together with family friends right now in "celebration" of Chinese New Year's. It kind of bites, since my birthday was on Wednesday.. meaning I was planning on going out tonight. Guh. We don't f**king celebrate it. I hate when people feed me this bullshit about what I should to do get money out of it. |

Happy Early Chinese New Year ! No, i do not have CNY breaks
i celebrate Chinese New Year but i'm not allowed to go on a trip becuase the tradition's rule is to stay w/ your family and celebrate. Give thanks and respect to other family members and etc .. " Gong hate fat chou " "wishing you prosperity" |
