yawn.gif ....well usually if a virus passes norton(which should be kept up to date...) it disables the antivirus from being able to even protect from it. let alone delete or hold it in a quarnteen(sometime you might have to go to task manager and see if the program is actually running . norton cannot quarnteen a running program. That might be why). best bet it to reformat your comp. if the files the viruses are in are "C:\\system32" just reformat your comp. if you do not know how to do this take it to a "compusa" or a best buy and they'll reformat it for 60$

also
neo gave a good point

Symantec.com website and see if the database they have helps in removing the virus.

Whenever I detect a virus with my norton and it can't repair, it usually when Im started dling something like a file. I would stop the dling and delete the file. I then scan my entire computer for the virus.

I suggest u look up the virus it detect on Symantec.com website and see if the database they have helps in removing the virus. I also suggest do not reboot your computer or else it can spread everytime u start up the computer which is what a virus does. U can also try free virus scanners which can help in determining what virus it is and if they also have a way to remove it.

^ No. He said you could go to Norton's Virus help site, to find a way to delete whatever virus you have.
