Anyone ever broke a promise or has one broken? Sorry if a topic has been made like this before. I'm just making topics that are happening in my life right now. Anyway..
I've had SOOOO many of promises made by friends and ex's that I've gotten so used to it.  I have asked my ex once.. "Why do you make promises to me when you end up breaking it?" I don't recall his response but yeah. Sad thing is? He still continues to make promises and in the end, it ends up getting broken. And I'm a fcuking fool for being so damn guillible and beliving that his promises won't be broken.  I'm mad at myself now.

I just had a promise broken recently...meh, people aren't perfect and they have their own lives, I cant expect them to remember every promise they made but the fact that they're sry about is enough to make me forgive them.

Yes, people aren't perfect but if they can't keep promises, don't make them.

nothing really serious. my boyfriend promised to get his learners' permit for driving before the new year and he still hasn't haha so i bug him about it, but thats about it.

Guys tend to do that.. i have had soo many of my guy friends and even the one that im falling for break promises..after i cussed him out.. ( lol im such a biotch for doing that but hey i needed to) we took like 1 week off and then we talked again.. and now we are close friends.. guys break promises all the time..even friends..but i just kinda know when they will break them soo i dont really put my hopes up on them. trust me dont be so hard on yourself! i cried too much for him..and now that we are friends again.. he makes it up by like making me laugh when i had a bad day..lol just dont blame ur self to much!

i know the feeling there is this guy i am kinda sorta dating but the only reason its not real serious is becuz he cant keep his promises. he breaks promises about us spending time together all the time. maybe him being in the army has a alot to do with it (he's overseas now) but it isnt fair.......

I don't like breaking promises .. so I tend to keep them ;/ but uh, people always break their promises with me.

i don't break promises because i don't make them. nothing is for sure. and when someone promisses me something, i don't believe then because things always seem to not work out my favor.

I've realized you only know as much as about a person as they'll tell you..soo what they say is really nothing..it's all based on how much you're willing to trust that person..
sooo if that trust is broken..it hurts cuz you knew you should've seen it from the start.. but i sorta know what broken promises feel like..esp now..
