i've come to figure out that i can use html in the space where i enter my 'page title' and 'tagline'... (i'm not talking about the 'enter your own html header' or whatever, just the first option.)

i'm just curious about the code i would use if i wanted the height of the actual BOX to be smaller. understand what i mean?

here's my xanga, and for where it says 'good luck exploring the infinite abyss', i want the box surrounding it to be not as tall.

thanks so much, i'm sure this is simple, but i'm just not the best at html yet. _unsure.gif

here is exactly what's in my 'site name', under 'create a custom header' in 'look and feel':

<center><font face=impact><font color=#ffffff size=8pt>&#9829 </text><font face=impact><font color=#66cccc size=6pt>good luck exploring the infinite abyss</text> <font face=impact><font color=#ffffff size=8pt>&#9829</center></text>

EDIT:
even if i move this to my 'custom header', my question is how do i adjust the height of the box?!

I don't think you can use HTML in your header, but you can do something like that in the custom header part.

yea, the easiest thing to do is use the custom html header. just paste that in there. it will still appear in the same place, that is if you put those codes at the very top. so, you have nothing to lose =]
