well.. yeah im kind of one of those people. and i def dont do it for attention and what not. everyone tells me im skinny and my weight and bmi says im underweight but when i look in the mirror i just dont see it. i see a little thing on my stomach or somewhere else and its just like i want to lose it and not be self concious about it. no one has ever told me i was overweight or anything.. all ive ever heard is skinny. i dont know why i think this way. i mean i KNOW im not fat i KNOW im not large i just want to be skinner and lose some weight. if that makes any sense. yeahh.

I have seen skinnier girls than me I often compare myself to those people. Even though I weight less than 100 lbs., I'm still insecure about my body and yea.. I know I'm not the fattest person, but I view myself as chubby and I feel the need to lose more and more weight. :errm:

Some people might call me crazy, but I just can't stop thinking about my weight and my size.. :T

lol. for the people that are pretty they're usually fishing for compliments. i don't know. i don't complain about the way i look. i got what god gave me. *shrugs* some people just need to learn to live with it. as for weight, yeahh, sometimes i tell me friends that i need to loose some weight, but its no biggie.

What is it with GORGEOUS girls thinking they're fat and all ? Is it for attention? Or what-not? Tell me what you chicks think on this.. Cause I know many girls who are not satisfied with their bodies, nor faces.. and they are SO FREAKING PRETTY. You know the ones that are gorgeous but say "*Sigh, I'm so fat. I'm so ugly. I need to stop eating. I need to get plastic surgery." T.T

It is a girl thing. Harmones... I hate it when they do that, they go like "i'm so fat" and then they are actually skinny. I somehow look different at school. the lights.... i need foundation.

i think i'm fat.. x_X all my friends say i'm fine.. but ya know.. it's my opinion and i'm sticking with it. >=( i don't really care what others think.. or say =/ it's what "I" think that counts for me =P

not everybody that says that wants compliments alright? just because you see people around the hall doing that doesn't mean they are fishing for compliments. everyone is different. we have a right to express what we are feeling. just because you EAVEDROP and hear it doesn't mean you have to CARE or respond alright?

Girls don't realize that they are pretty of who they are already and want to change because they think they aren't good enough to impress someone else.

i agree...but really, no girl is truly happy with herself..if you really think about it..there'll probably always be at least one thing they're not happy with..

I don't really know what I am. I see myself in the mirror and all I see are flaws. My mother thinks I'm beautiful, my friends don't think i'm skinny, mostly because most of them are overweight. Sometimes girls just concentrate one what's bad on their body rather then what's good, ok, most of the time.

I don't think any girl is *completely* satisfied with what thye look like, there's always some part of them that they think they can improve.
but yeah, i think it's party for attention; because as soon as you say that, all your friends will coo, "no, you don't need surgery, you're so beautiful, look at all the guys that like you, etc etc etc."
ironic, but i think the prettier girls out there have less self-esteem/confidence.
