keep 'em for a week (don't let her know/don't remind her about them) and then bring it up with her later and if she still doesn't like them, think it over

it's not worth fighting over a pair of pants

Maybe she's just mad that he got them for you when you were looking to buy them with her... parents have contol issues...

But I guess I don't really know since I've never met your parents. I'd keep them if I were you.

I wouldn't return them. If you did it may make your dad feel bad - it may make him think you really didn't want them or something. I'm sure your mom'll get over it.

They were 40 dollars, which to me isnt that much for something everyones wearing and i like...

yea, my mom said something like "oh you just bought that to make me look bad and i dont buy them anything." Which really makes me mad bacause when ever i go shopping with her all she ever says about low rise jeans is 'i dont think your dad will like that' and blah blah blah...

So i guess i'll keep them now. Thanks for the back up guys _smile.gif

my parents are always strict about the way i dress. i don't think this pair of jeans are bad.. maybe it's too low rise?

Yea, I agree with the control issues thing. Maybe she felt like your father betrayed her by getting you something that she didn't want you to have.. ? Dunno. Who cares, keep them. You obviously like them, so wear what you want. =P

No, don't return them. Your mom was probably mad at your dad or somethan. I doubt the real problem was about the pants you bought.
