i'm reading through these posts cuz i'm thinking of buying one or the other for a guy friend's birthday in may~ so i'm guessing the ps2 wins the vote? hmm..

PS2... i love X-Box graphics.. but i love the ddr pad, and ps2 controller, plus the games more for ps2. THe ddr pad for x-box is weird...

I own PS2 and Gamecube. My brothers (I have two) own Xbox. I liked Nintendo ever since the original came out and became a huge fan of their games. So I have to say both for these. I totally enjoyed N64 ever since Mario 64 and Donkey Kong. Too bad my dad gave it away to my relatives! I would have been extremely happy if I could have kept it. It was one of the best Nintendo systems out there.

PS2 is definitely cool. Most of my favorite games are from PS2. Xbox doesnt have much variety of games that I liked, no rpg's, no good horror games (if they even make any), and well, way too much DoA. Dead Or Alive is going online and nude! This seriously wrecks up the once good series. I really enjoyed DoA3. But Halo is pretty good, although I'm not that good at it.

So my choice would be Gamecube and Ps2.

PS2 has the best games and therefore is the best.

X-box is a better console, but it's too bulky and it's made by Microsoft.

I'll probably get a Game Cube if it had a larger game selection.

I prefer the PS2 controller though. Don't know why Nintendo didn't just stick with their Super Nintendo controller and just modified it... well that's what PS controllers are like.

PSX if I could afford it

xbox sucks- but thats because bill gates gets another 10 bucks off of every one .

that's a guess, i dont really know...prolly something less than that

i own ps2 sooo that but if i had gamecube i might vote that coz i guess i liek all tha kiddee graphics nd stuff they have on some of their games !

Considering they have a better um.. Network Adapter, or whatever it's called. Sony's is very weak and well, not really worth it. But hey, people love to play online. XBox Love, you ahve to buy a kit for it, which comes with an xbox live game. It's about um.. i believe 70 dollars or so, with a game. My bf has xbox live. It's just some little card that you stick into the xbox console and then hook up the router into it and there you go! The card lasts a year. Afterwards, it's dead. =T

I think GameCube is cool cause they have mario games =) hahas, but Mario Sunshine looked cool, but it wasn't a good game overall. I wouldn't really know, the only game system I really have is GBA SP =(

ps2.. every new damn game system they come up with has 309230984 more buttons lol .. i can barely handle the buttons on ps2 lols

PC =P Don't really play consoles. None of them has any good fps. But if i was to pick a console then PS2. Only games I play is DDR and wrestling games at my cousins. My PS2 is under my desk collecting dust >.<

ps2 has the worst hardware, and the worst graphics.

the best graphics are on xbox, but I still like gamecube because who cares how good the graphics are when the games selection isn't great?
