oh man. i know so many people who hae had cancer.
my grandpa had bone cancer. we didnt tell him he had cancer tho because we didnt want him to feel discouraged. he lived for about two years before he died and he never knew that he had cancer. he kept on saying that he was gonna visit us over the summer(he lives in china) and plant fruits and vegetables in our backyard so we never have to go buy groceries again.

a really close friend to my entire family. had breast cancer. passed away last year. she was such a good person. never did anything wrong.

another friend. leukimia. died 3 years ago. one morning, the teacher walked in and told us that he died. everybody started crying, we basically spent the entire day crying and not doing anything.

a girl at my school. she used to be really good friends with my best friend. i dno what cancer she has tho. but shes fighting.
the school nurse's daughter. we did this whole dinner thing to raise money for her. almost 10.000 dollars!

typing this made me cry.

ermm.gif Not that I can think of, except my English teacher, Ms. Akers. It could've been a rumor, though. Everyone almost wanted her to get some disease because they hated her so badly. And...just Kim's aunt, as she mentioned above. That's only because I've been reading up on her Xanga. I hope she rests in peace. sad.gif

I know a few but this one kid Nick, he had cancer before but I really dislike him. Now he goes up to girls and says *hi..I had cancer..wanna go out?* girls only go out with him cause they feel bad for him. I hate people like tht when they use something serious like tht..so stupid.

there was a guy at my school a couple of years ago and during his senior year he was diagnosed with leukemia and he needed a bone marrow transplant or he was going to die.... and fast. he was destined to be valedictorian that year, had a full scholarship to baylor for that next fall, very bright, and very well liked. the thing is, though, he didn't come from a wealthy family, so they didn't have the money to get him on the transplant list... so, some of his friends started to raise money for him by selling rolled up green bandanas to everyone in our school district (and it even spread to other districts as well) for around $2 a piece and were able to raise enough money to get him a bone marrow transplant that he needed to live. he got well and was able to walk down the aisle at his graduation with the rest of his classmates, but not as valedictorian since he had missed so much school his senior year his grades weren't able to recover. he wasn't able to attend baylor because of his health and just recently this year he needed another transplant. the school did their part in raising the money again and he was able to get a second transplant, but he is not doing well. the doctors don't expect him to live for much longer but he is in everyone's thoughts and daily prayers at our school, and even in our town. it is sad to see such a young person go through so much, and everyone is praying for the strong spirit within him to pull through.
