really? Chink is a bad word for Chinese people? heh... I didn't know that!! But why???? my friend who is chinese... her username is chink_bebe_qrl ........ i didn't know that was a bad racism for its nationality!!
can anyone tell me why it's bad to call chink to a chinese person?  and.... "gook"? eh? no people calls us koreans..."gook" i never ever heard no people called us "gook"...maybe in your state, but not in seattle................................... they call us the "hangooks" and the "fobs" ^___^;; |

i think its pretty stupid&hypercritocal [sp?].
all i have to say is that if your gonna use a term that is offensive to your OWN race (such as .. chnk\ngr\crkr\spc no matter which way you mean to use it .. then use it, but dont get mad about it when someone else uses it against you-to you-around you, cos to be using racist slurs like that about your own race is like agreeing negatively about your own people. try an recognize. its not a freaking "trend" its offensive mann .. & im not even chinese, black, hispanic, or white, im a flip and iono what were considered as [labeled offensively] but wouldnt you agree i mean cmon. That reminds me of a kid in my school. He is racist against everyone. I know he doesn't really believe in racism, but he just jokes about it way too much. especially towards Jewish people, which i find extremely offensive. He would draw Nazi symbols, make Nazi poses, mimick hitler. I wanted to squash him. But then i realized he is just a f**king idiot. So i fought fire with fire by threatening him and calling him a communist.
Now he is known as the school commy and hes scared of making fun of Jewish people.

what i think is becuz when they say that racial word when they're that nationality. they're not bein racist cuz they're one too. like when chinese people call their chinese friends chink, it probably dont matter cuz they're chinese too so there's no need for racism

i'm black and yea we call each other NIGGA but, not nigger...well every once in a while...and negro too and nicca and nigra. When we say them, they arent in an offensive way at all..just in our nature to say them.
they arent a lot of asians here so yea..i only see them in the beauty supply store my mama calls asians chinks sometimes but, i KNOW its not meant to be offensive. i think thats what they've always been called around her. |

Dang where do you people live... not around here. Chinese people call other people chinks all the time. Same with gook's and beaners/spic's and such

i'm black i say nigga to people in my race all the time. And as someone already mentioned its not nigger that we say. I feel if you aint black then why hell are you saying nigga for?? I dont call nobody spic, chink, etc becuz i feel by me saying this it is being disrespectful and my momma taught me better that . But still i hear other non blacks say nigga all the time and i just look at them funny. So i can see why some people would get offend with being called chink for especially if it is by a person of another race

i dunno.. i wouldn't like being called a chink.. cuz i'm not one. before this guy was like to me, "i thought you were chink." and im like, "no. i'm not chink. >=(" anyways, i'm viet... and if i was chinese, i wouldn't call myself a chink. =/
