is a poem .' 'is it?' she asks, 'what is life, what is poetry; questions, answers, things intangible, those things that can't be put into words but somehow they are anyways. could you fit eighty or eighteen years (or eighteen months) onto paper? could you? life, death, and maybe the afterlife if you believe in that sort of thing every memory, feeling, situation gone wrong, thing into a poem.' 'you could. but could you?' |
