Tell me if I'm correct,
but when someone gets dumped, he or she usually feels all depressed like there is nothing to live for and they just want to suicide, right?

Well, I have never had a boyfriend, and I've never even wanted to even attempt suicide just because I've never had a boyfriend.

But I'm sick of hearing all these " omg, my boyfriend/girlfriend dumped me.. i'm so depressed. " because a lot of people haven't even have a girlfriend/boyfriend before and they feel better than those who have gotten dumped.

So I guess relationships suck cause people who don't want a boyfriend/girlfriend, they're depressed cause they do. And when you get dumped, you feel depressed.

I don't always feel depressed when I get dumped. Actually, I only did feel depressed once. You shouldn't be depressed because you don't have a boyfriend! You're time will come, sooner or later! Enjoy the time you have now to be with your friends. Not all relationships end badly. When you get dumped, just realize that there are PLENTY of other guys out their for you.

relationships dont suck. they give u chances to learn more about eachother and to develop a bond. and u dont neccesarily feel depressed everytime u get dumped.. because if u do spend a minute to think back, then u'll see why u were dumped. and it isnt always the fault of the one who dumped u.. it may be ur own. n even if u're dumped.. it isnt like the end of the world. the world's got plenty to go 'round. "dont give up an entire forest for one little tree". u can always find someone else.. rite? it's just maybe a moment of depression.. but it pays off for all the good times u've had. dont feel bad for not having a bf yet.. u'll get some sooner or later.

i've never had a boy friend but my best friend is like that but she's always up guy's butts so when someone doesnt like he she gets soo depressed but she doesnt understand theres other guys. most of the guys never have over 1 week relationships so she doesnt get that sad about them but she gets soo sad when this guy she talks to online that she likes doesnt talk to her 1 day, i was like wtf?!?! but he's a pimp and goes out with 3 girls at the same time but still doesnt give up trying to go out with him

Uh. yes and no.

when someone gets dumped, they don't ALWAYS have to feel depressed. sometimes their happy & don't want to kill themselves & relationships doesn't suck because you get to experience what your going to do when your getting married & it creates a bond & such.

I don't get depressed. I might get sad for a while, but I don't use the "I'm going to commit suicide" line.

It is kind of biased to say that it is annoying to hear about people getting dumped. When you decide to begin a relationship, a real one, you are basically giving your own heart for that person to hold. And you trust them with it. If you really like that person.. and you guys have had something wonderfully truly special, it does hurt a lot when it's gone. I know this from experience. It's true that also, you don't neccesarily get hurt when getting dumped.. But I think the people you are hearing from do have real heartbreaks.

I never had a boyfriend before so I wouldn't know how depressed I would feel if I got dumped.
People say they're so so sad that they got dumped; well. it's really not for anyone to feel. They want to feel the way they want to. And it depends how close they were with that person. if they went out for like 4 years, then someone gets dumped, that could be painful. whereas a person gets dumped after a 4 day relationship, they might not feel that sad.

I have never been dumped.. I usually do the dumping because I cant stand one person for too long. Thats really not normal but thats mean... nothing normal.

umm...no. i never thought that. yeah i was upset but never to that point...

So I guess relationships  suck cause people who don't want a boyfriend/girlfriend, they're depressed cause they do. And when you get dumped, you feel depressed.

like i said, it depends on the person and how they deal with it. i don't think relationships suck...they can be great as well as a learning experience.

hmm. i don't think people feel that extreme ... but i've never been dumped so i wouldn't know. i've always done the dumping. *sweatdrop* sadness is normal when someone you like dumps you. *shrugs*

if the both of you agrees to break it off, then you shouldn't feel depressed. i dont know bout if one dumps the other, nver got dumped before

I don't always feel depressed when I get dumped. Actually, I only did feel depressed once. You shouldn't be depressed because you don't have a boyfriend! You're time will come, sooner or later! When you're in love with the other person and they used to love you, and they break it off, you're obviously depressed. This is because the special bond is gone, ther person that once made you happy is gone. It's really hard to explain love..

i dont know. i've never been dumped, but i'd say, yes and no. depends on the situation.

just a little upset that he would break up with me after all we've been thru.

hrm. i`ll try not to repeat but i agree with most people that posted. i mean it IS biased to say that it`s annoying. i mean sometiems it does get boring hearing people say that, but it is sad wen u break up.

When i get dumped, usually i'm very sad...not to the point of committing suicide tho. But some relationships i was happy after the break up. But i mean, it hurts when you get really close to someone, and then you are suddenly ripped apart.. i dunno how to really explain that pain.
